Follow Your Heart Yoga Center’s studio is available for rent during non-class and workshop times for your specialty events and workshops. We look forward to helping you offer your special activity in the beautiful, tranquil space of Follow Your Heart Yoga Center.

Studio Rental Q&A

Q. How large is the Center’s studio and how many people will it accommodate?

A. The studio is between 800 and 900 square feet. For yoga it will comfortably accommodate up to 25 people. Sitting only can accommodate many more, either sitting on the floor or in chairs.

Q. Are teachers available to conduct special group yoga classes?

A. Yes teachers are available with enough notice. In addition to the studio rental there would be charge for the teacher’s time.

Q. What hours is the studio generally available for rent?

A. Generally, weekday afternoons, after 12 or 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. On weekends, Saturday, after 12:30 and Sunday, after 11:00 am, unless there is a workshop scheduled for that weekend.

Q. What amenities do you have available for those who rent your space?

A. We have 16 folding metal chairs, 2 rectangular folding tables (with notification of need), purified water from the water cooler, a boom box for playing CDs (including use of the studio CDs), and all the yoga props – blankets, mats, eye bags, blocks, straps, and sandbags. Parking is free.

Q. Is cleaning provided?

A. The studio will be clean and neat when you arrive. PLEASE REMOVE SHOES BEFORE ENTERING STUDIO. We ask that you please leave the studio in the same condition that you found it especially if there will be food.  We ask that you please tidy up after yourself in consideration of our yoga students who will be practicing in the studio. Thank you.

Q. What does it cost to rent the studio?

A. Please contact us for details and rates. A 50% deposit is required to secure your rental and the balance is due the day of the event. Check or Visa/MasterCard is accepted.

Q. What is the studio rental cancellation policy?

A. A refund on your deposit will be issued only if we receive notice within 4 days of the need to cancel, minus a $20 administrative fee. A credit of your deposit toward classes or workshops will be issued ONLY if the cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the event, minus a $20 administrative fee. NO credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received with 48 hours of the event.

Q. Any other rental rules?

A. We ask that you refrain from spraying fragrance, perfumes or other odors leaving an aroma that may be bothersome to some of our students. Thank you!
