Tips for an Enjoyable Class

Turn off your cell phone so you can disconnect from outside to turn inside.

At your first class tell your teacher about any physical problems/injuries/medical conditions or recent surgeries.  During the session advise your teacher of any new conditions.

Avoid wearing perfume or heavy jewelry.

Eat lightly before class and come with a big smile!

If you arrive late for your class and the centering has started, sit down immediately and get your mat and props after the centering.

Wear comfy clothing so you can move freely and easily; but not too baggy so the teacher can see your alignment.

Our last pose is a relaxation one, called Savasana, which integrates all the benefits of your practice – so try not leave early and miss this most important pose.

We ask that students practice “propasana” – this is putting away the mats and props after your class – thank you!
