Class Description
Awakening Heart Yoga & Meditation

(Experienced beginner, intermediate and beyond). A tantric practice that is dynamic, to awaken life force or Prana; powerful, to awaken creative energy or Shakti; and joyful, to have our heart touched. A 10-15 minute guided meditation will follow savasana.

Boundaries & Balance Yoga

(Experienced beginner,intermediate and beyond).In this class you will move more deeply into foundtional poses with increasing awareness. Emphasis will be on gradually building and expanding boundaries with curiosity and a lighhearted approach.

Chair Yoga

Therapeutic class created for those experiencing debilitating, degenerative and difficult conditions where getting down to the floor and back up is not possible. This class's focus is wellness! Yoga postures will be done in chairs and standing. We will use walls and various props to improve alignment and enhance the experience of the postures. Breathwork and a short meditation will be including in every class.

Fluid Flow Yoga

(Experienced beginner, intermediate and beyond). Fluid Flow is an energetic approach to embodying the flow of yoga. Students learn classical and innovated approaches to vinyasa yoga through fluid sequences of asana. The wave of a class is created through cycle sequences (vinyasa) linked together through the breath wave. Every class is well-rounded: to create whole body transformation of strength, fluidity and centering.

Gentle Yoga

A beginner and continuing yoga class for those who desire a slower-paced and less vigorous class than Yoga 1. Combines warm-ups, gentler postures and breath awareness to increase movement and vitality and reduce stress. Must be able to get up and down to/from the floor. A therapeutic class.

Happy Hour Yoga

(Experienced beginner-intermediate) The perfect way to unwind from a busy week, recharge your reserves and replenish your energy as a great start to a fulfilling weekend. Come enjoy an energizing, fun, and deeply relaxing practice. (Aaahhh!)

Mindfulness Vinyasa Yoga

(Suitable for intermediate-advanced). A class that focuses intently on the mind/body connection in which awareness, balance and stability are created through a slow flowing sequence of poses.

Morning Flow

(Experienced beginner, intermediate). Flow is a class with a steady, continuous flow of postures, sun salutations and other poses linked into the flow of breath and body.

Pre-natal Yoga

This class is for both new and experienced yoga students. It is designed to help you remain healthy and relaxed throughout your pregnancy and to prepare for labor and delivery.In this class you will deepen your relationship with your baby, connect with other mothers-to-be, and develop strength, flexibility and calm to serve you through your pregnancy, labor and beyond. You should be past the first trimester to participate in this class.Permission of doctor/midwife is recommended prior to beginning this yoga class. Regardless of when you start with us in this class, your first class is free so you are comfortable with the class.

Pure Energy Yoga

(Experienced beginner, intermediatea and beyond). This class is a lively and playful practice in which you will learn some anatomy and move through flowing and sometimes challenging asanas. You will carry a glow with you the rest of the day!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga focuses on opening, releasing and relaxing the body in restful postures. This allows the body to renew and heal. This a relaxed practice of floor asanas for 3 to 5 minutes at a time. These postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints allowing us to maintain and restore joint flexibility. Find comfort and balance for your mind and body. No yoga experience required.

Yin Yoga

(Suitable for beginner and beyond). Yin yoga is yoga for the joints. It's a quiet practice were we take a posture, relax into that postre and hold it for 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga works the deeper, hidden tissues...the connective tissue that wraps our muscles and joints. In stillness, we breathe deeply and find ourselves in meditation...in the present...in awareness of the body. This mindful practice enhances flexibility, improves posture, and relieves pain and tension, primarily in the hips, low back, pelvis and spine.

Yin/Yang Yoga

(Suitable for beginners and beyond). After juicing our joints with Yin yoga (a quiet practice for the joints where postures are held 3-5 minutes), we will focus on Yang yoga..yoga for the muscles. Yang postures bring flexibility and elasticity to the muscles through rhythmic movement.

Yoga Flow

(Experienced beginner, intermediate and beyond). A late evening practice with a steady, continuous flow of postures, sun salutations and other poses linked into the flow of breath and body.

Yoga Foundations

(Suitable for students with NO yoga experience or less than 6 month experience; OR anyone who wants to get back to basics). This class focuses on teaching the basics: body and breath awareness, breathing techniques, asanas appropriate for beginners and associated alignment for each pose, and the art of relaxation.
